A- The emergence of new post-industrial
economies and societies: traditional economy v/s globalized and mediatized
economy
Introduction
The primary objective of this course is to acquire a
global then particular overview of the relation between the development of the new information and
communication technologies and the spreading of information through time as
well as its macro and micro impacts on economies. Numerous problematic arise
and bring us to evaluate our current economical context through studying its
progression through space and time.
Economics: is the social science that analyzes the
production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. The term
“economics” comes from the Acient Greek (meaning the "management of a
household, administration"). It interferes in the everyday life of
individuals and has an impact on all its scales: behaviors starting from home and
reaching citizenship, politics and international strategies, cultures…
The economics’ fields of investigation are:

Exchange systems regardless their structures

The allocation of ressources
Information economy is a branch
of economics that explains the importance of information and reflects the way
that it affects economic decisions. It allows us as well to visualize the place
of information as an important sector of the post industrial economy and the
interactions interfering in the information market. The information is
considered as a factor that orients economies and one of its important
components.
